Safety and Security
The safety and security of our patrons is our top priority. To ensure a safe environment, security guards will be present at all of our season shows. Please, allow for plenty of time to complete the security check before the show.
All patrons and their belongings are subject to search prior to entry and once inside the building. If you bring an item that is prohibited into the building, you will be asked to take it to your car or you may throw it away. The Effingham Performance Center will not hold any items.
All bags will be checked upon entering the venue.
Firearms and Concealed Handgun Policy
Firearms and / or concealed handguns with or without a license are not permitted at the Effingham Performance Center. If a guest arrives with a firearm, the guest will be instructed to return the weapon to his or her vehicle. Local, state and federal law enforcement officers with proper identification are the only authorized persons allowed to enter with a firearm.
What is prohibited at the venue?
The following items are prohibited at the venue:
- Weapons of any type, including Mace
- Illegal substances
- Electronic Cigarettes
- Outside food or beverages
- Flasks
- Pets / Animals (with the exception of service animals)
- Laser pointers / pens
- Video or audio recorders
- Selfie sticks
